About the Artist

HEIDI GOULD is a Southern Louisiana fine artist whose work celebrates the natural world through rich color, organic form, and layered texture. From her studio in the South, she draws inspiration from the region’s marshes, florals, waterways and wild spaces—absorbing the colors, light, and movement of her surroundings and translating them into vibrant, nature-rooted compositions.

Working in acrylics, pastels, and oils, Heidi builds depth and dimension through intentional layering, often blurring the line between abstraction and a sense of place. Her process is intuitive and exploratory, allowing each piece to evolve through a mix of deliberate marks and spontaneous gestures—capturing both the quiet stillness and rhythmic energy found in nature.

Alongside her career as an attorney, Heidi has cultivated a dedicated creative practice. Her work reflects a blend of observation, experimentation, and ongoing learning through workshops, classes, and mentorships, drawing from both traditional techniques and contemporary design principles.

When she’s not in the studio, Heidi spends time with her family, exploring all that nature has to offer. Whether close to home or on her travels, she’s always seeking new inspiration in the colors and textures of the world around her.
